Repairs
A hydraulic gate operator consists of an electric motor and pump, valve body, piston and cylinder assembly or hydraulic rotory actuator. In many cases high quality gate operators can be rebuilt in our shop to like-new specifications saving our customers money on repairs due to normal wear and use. Gate operators damaged by forced opening are usually damaged beyond repair and must be replaced.

We take the customers components to our shop where they are completely disassembled and cleaned. The piston rod and cylinder, or piston and gear rack, are measured for wear and all components out-of-true are replaced. A hydraulic seal kit containing new piston seals, hydraulic lock valves, check valves, tank gaskets, o-rings and pressure relief valves is installed.

The electric motor is tested for resistance, the armature is turned true and the power cord is replaced.

The unit is reassembled, filled with fresh hydraulic oil and pressure tested, adjusted, leak checked and run repeatedly on our test bench.

The serial number is recorded and the unit is marked for re-installation. The re-built unit is guaranteed free from failure for one year, excluding damage by forced entry or vandalism.
